Job Purpose
Assembly of industrial air compressor and vacuum products with engineered controls while staying focused on Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Customer Expectations. Salary increases at 60, 180 and 360 days.
Key Job Functions
- Basic Mechanical Skills
- Assembly/Disassembly of mechanical components
- Use of tools- drill, rachet, wrench, screwdrivers wire cutters, ferrule guns, and hammer
- Use of tape measurer
- Basic Electrical Skills
- Control Wiring
- Motor Wiring
- Basic Plumbing Skills
- Copper tube flaring
- Thread taping
- Follow test procedures to ensure units work properly
- Prepare finished units for shipment
- Maintain good housekeeping in work area
Skills Required
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Assembler is required to stand 50% of work day
- Assembler is required to walk, kneel, and stoop during the day
- Will use a pallet jack to move material
- Maintain a high level of work ethic to ensure tasks are completed in the man hours allotted
- Performing mechanical tasks, ability to use hand tools
- Strong communication skills
- Computer literacy
