Powerex is a proud manufacturer of ISO 8573-1:2010 “Class Zero” oil-free compressed air systems using oil-less scroll and oil-free rotary tooth technology. Class Zero air is the concentration of total oil (aerosol, liquid, vapor) in mg/m3 that is measured to be a level much less than Class 1 (≤.01 mg/m3). Download our certification below:

Our Scroll Enclosure 10-20 HP models (SED, SET and SEQ) are CSA certified. Our certification meets the Canadian based CSA standard as well as the US based UL standard. The logo we use means that CSA has certified our product to both the Canadian and US standard.

OSHPD (California Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development) is a series of tests for the structural integrity of components, supports, etc. and requires that the functionality of all components be maintained in case of an earthquake. Even though OSHPD is mandatory and specific to the state of California, other states such as Utah, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, Nevada, and North Carolina have also started looking into seismic requirements for their healthcare facilities.
Medical & Laboratory Air Scroll Systems
The majority of our Medical Air and Laboratory Air Scroll systems have passed their seismic testing at a level of 2.5 g, the highest attainable level.
